Prince George goes Hollywood

Certain Prince George locations have transformed into a Hollywood Set, most notably the College Heights Plaza Shopping Center and the Lions Club Center. The shopping center was transformed into a Michigan Shopping mall during Christmas season, displaying Christmas decorations and Michigan State signs. As the current Prince George spring weather had melted most of the snow, truckloads of the white stuff were hauled onto the set. Artifical snowblowers and giant fans were also used to blow gentle snowflakes (artificial - with the texture of fine cotton) onto pedestrians, the roofs of cars and buildings, thereby giving it the wintery effect. The local Toronto Dominion Bank was renamed "Michigan State Bank", which led some poor unsuspecting bankcustomers to panic attacks, when they attended to do their weekly banking transactions. The local "Lions Club" Hall, which usually hosts charitable events, was transformed into a nightclub and casino with flashing purple neon lights; a quite spectacular sight at night.
